Broadly speaking personal injury is a term used in the legal profession for those lawyers who represent victims who have been harmed by the wrong doing of another responsible party. The field of representation can be very large, ranging from automobile accidents to civil rights violations. Many personal injury attorneys, especially those with limited experience, limit their practices to uncomplicated cases. Experienced personal injury attorneys usually limit their practices to cases with serious permanent injuries, but cover a broad range of cases.

Our firm is in the latter category. By handling a broad range of serious personal injury cases we have maximum contact with insurance companies and defense law firms that handle larger claims and are used to paying substantial monetary settlements. We are also positioned to have a greater proportion of our cases in court than many other firms. This gives us regular contact with court personal and judges who are familiar with our ability, reputation and track record.

Insurance companies and their lawyers are well aware of the personal injury lawyers with strong reputations and tend to pay higher settlements to clients represented by those firms. Before hiring a personal injury attorney make sure they have a strong reputation and track record.
