A Concord man, John Smart, received life threatening injuries when struck by a Concord Area Transit bus while he was walking in a cross walk.

While the accident is still under investigation by the police one thing is clear. Pedestrians walking in cross walks have the right of way. The business of our firm, Van Dorn and Curtiss, is dedicated to ensuring that personal injury victims recieve full compensation for their losses from all responsible parties. However, we are also dedicated to bringing the problem of highway safety to the public's attention.

The police have asked anyone with information to call 225- 8600. For more on this story see the Concord Monitor article.
